Software Engineer

Overview

Are you interested in changing the way people think about food? Are you a rockstar software engineer who can write and think in 5 different languanges while juggling priorities? Can you handle two week sprints in a startup environment where customer feedback drives the backlog priorities? We need software engineers who can write code and manage servers for our multi-platform system in PHP, RoR, MySQL, MongoDB, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You should be comfortable with content management systems, transaction gateways, caching strategies, and learning from your mistakes.

About You

You are a jack-of-all trades and a master of at least one when it comes to software. You are as comfortable hacking on someone else’s home-rolled codebase as you are managing configurations on Linux boxes. You’ve written software for content management systems, ecommerce platforms, and social networks, sometimes all at the same time. You like challenges. You can figure out how something works and break it in no time — but you can fix it in half that time.
